  1. I like this a lot and it is so true! It is so easy to get caught up in the profession and forget why you are dancing worry about others rather than trying to push yourself to be the best you can be!

    Our job can be quite different to normal 9 to 5 job. There are so many unemployed dancers and dancers are always very desperate to get a steady contract, very sad, but true. Therefore, we often forget why we do what we do. I have noticed this happens often to young dancers. They are more enthusiastic, and also still very insecure. Young ones are desperately want to prove something, and build their own space in their work place. I often talk to young ones to calm down, because other wise they will get physically and mentally hurt them selves with out realising. I know this, because I have been there and done it.
